Warriors struggle in defeat against Bulldogs

The Warriors have fallen to third on the NRL points table and to their sixth loss of the season after an 18-6 defeat to the Bulldogs in Sydney.
The Auckland are now on 30 points, the Roosters 32 and the Panthers 34 all after 18 games and three byes.
LATEST HEADLINES:
The home side kept the visitors scoreless for the majority of the game including Connor Tracey stopping Dallin Watene-Zelezniak from a certain try in the second half, with the Warriors winger slipping over with 15 minutes to go when he was set to score.
Taine Tuaupiki was resourceful at fullback but he could be set for a stint on the sidelines after he was forced off just before half-time with a foot issue.
Stephen Crichton crossed early for the Bulldogs with Jaco Preston following up a few minutes later with th escore set at 12-0 at the break.
Jacob Kiraz made it 16-0 with a try early in the second spell before Crichton added a penalty goal for his 10th point of the game - one try, two conversions and one penalty.
Final in the 74th minute the the Warriors scored thanks to a chip and chase by Mitch Barnett followed up by Chanel Harris Tavita, who converted his own try.
The Bulldogs made the better of linebreaks - seven to one and kicking metres but otherwise team stats were similar, except for tackles were the Warriors made 387 to the Bulldogs 324.
Things don’t get any easier with a tricky trip to the Gold Coast next week before they host Penrith in a round 23 blockbuster back at Mt Smart. .
