India in New Zealand in three-format tour

The Black Caps will face one of the biggest cricket challenges with India confirmed for a three-format tour from October 22 until December.

It is the largest inbound tour in NZC history by match count, with five T20Is, five ODIs and two Tests across five regions.

Demand for India tour tickets has historically been high and with the rivalry between the two sides only getting stronger.

With more than double the matches this time the prospect of sold-out crowds across the board - NZC is bracing to set a new attendance record for an in-bound tour - targeting in excess of 150,000 tickets.

Auckland will host one match, an ODI at Eden Park in early October. The two tests are at the Basin Reserve 19-23 November and Hagley Oval in Christchurch the following week
