Black Caps win ODI series over West Indies

New Zealand have won the ODI series in the West Indies with a game to spare after a one wickert victory in Barbados.
Batting first the home side were all out for 188 from 44.4 overs. The Black Caps replied with 189-9 with 35 balls to spare battling a batting collapse and bad weather along the way.

It cam down to captain Mitchell Santner remaining not out 34 as his side exposed a very long tail which fell cheaply.
Santner was heavily involved in the game taking two wickets, a catch and a run out before holding the innings together with his stable batting from 52 delveries with Jayden Lennox facing 10 balls for no score at the other end.
Earlier Mark Chapman top-scored wiht 80 off 82 balls includingeight fours and four sixes after coming in at 46-3 he took the score through until his dismissal at 142
Henry Nicholls was out for no score, Will Young 20 and Nick Kelly three.
Tom Latham fell for five before Michjael Brace scored 32 from 31 deliveries with four fours and a six.
The three remaining wickets of Nathan Smith, Jacob Duffy and Matthew fisher were all bowled cheaply.
In the West Indies innings Amire Jango was the chief scorer on 51 and further down the order Gudakesh Motie 41 as Black Caps fast bowler took 3-40 from eight overs and Bracewell 2-35.
New Zealand won the series 3-1 overall with the fifth and final game on Wednesday at Bridgetown.
