Lawson to start Belgian Grand Prix ninth on grid

New Zealand Formula 1 driver Liam Lawson has claimed a ninth-place start on the grid for the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa.
The Racing Bulls team member initially qualified 11th after narrowly missing the third stage of qualifying (Q3) by just 0.038s, but grid penalties to Red Bull's Isaac Hadjar and McLaren's Lando Norris saw the Kiwi jump up to ninth.

"We’ve been a bit slow all weekend. We put together the best car we had. It felt quite good, just too slow, Tomorrow is going to be a hard race, but I’ll do my best." said Lawson after qualifying and prior to his shift up the order
The result comes in a good run of form for the 24-year-old, who has scored points in all but two races this season and currently sits 10th in the World Drivers' Standings.
He was outqualified by teammate Arvid Lindblad, who will start from seventh after receiving an upgraded cooling system to his VCARB 03.
