Kobori impressive British Open second round

A top finish to his second round has given kiwi golfer Kazuma Kobori a tied of 38th at the British Open at Royal Brikdale.
Kobori, 24 finished his his round at one-under after a bogey on the sixth hole but a birdie on the 12th and then also on the 17th hole to card a 69.
Ryan Fox also made the cut at even-par and is tied 52nd. His round was choatic consistency at its best.
He bogeyed the third, but birded the sixth and then hit four birdiesin a row on holes 8 - 11, however a bogey followed on the 12th.
Unfortunately Daniel Hillier missed the one-over cut by a shot.
Australian Lucas Herbert leads a group of three by two shots at eight-under after a second round 62.
