Warriors struggle to put away difficult Dragons

The Warriors have closed to within one game of the Panthers at the top of the table with a hard-fought eight-point win over a gritty Dragons side who had a number of calls go against them.
The the Dragons were awarded a try only for the Bunker to rub it out after Setu Tu was ruled to have been held in the tackle before he got up and scored which would have changed the flow of the game.

It was a tough call, but there was no doubt which side was getting the rub of the green when the Warriors were awarded a contentious penalty in the 70th minute.
Val Holmes was pinged for an escort despite replays showing the Dragons veteran had barely turned around when two Warriors players made contact.
Back-to-back penalties at the death handed the hosts the gift-wrapped two points that secured the result in the 79th minute.
