Tough second rounds for New Zealand golfers

A difficult day for Ryan Fox at the latest PGA Tour event at the Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina.


Fox is tied for dead last at seven-over after a carding a second round five-over par 76.


LATEST HEADLINES:

There's no cut at the tournament, but Fox is 16 shots off leader Sungjae Im at nine-under.


On the women's LPGA Dame Lydia Ko has double bogeyed the last hole of her second round to fall into a tie for sixth at the latest event in New Jersey.


She's carded a three-over par round with just one birdie to be two-under overall, four shots off the lead which is held by Thailand's Jeeno Thitikul at eight-under.


Meanwhile Kazuma Kobori is tied for 43rd at the European Tour event in Barcelona.


He's recorded a two-under par second round to be three-under overall, eight back of the leading pair of Dane, Lucas Bjerregaard and Italy's Stefano Mazzoli.
