New Zealand bat past 500 in third test

The Black Caps are looking good after two days of play in the third test at the Bay Oval at Mt Maunganui.
New Zealand started the day at 334-1 as Devon Conway continued to bat on from 178. He evetually made 227 from 367 balls as the total stretched to 575-9 declared.
LATEST HEADLINES:
His first partner, Jacob Duffy was out for 17 before Kane Williamson came and went for 31.
Daryl Mitchell and Tom Blundell went cheaply for 11 and four respectively before Glenn Phillips made 29. Zak Foulkes was out for one.
Patel then made 30 runs from 30 balls including the two late sixes off one over and three fours. Rachin Ravindra remained not out 72.
The West Indies spent 155 overs in the field and were looking run down before the declaration.
In reply the West Indies are finding batting easy at 110 without loss - Brandon King 55 and John Campbell 45.
New Zealand leads the series one nil after the first test was drawn and the second won by the home side.
