Kazuma Kobori has had the best result of the three New Zealand players competing in major tour events around the world over the past week.


The 24-year-old carded a final round 67 to finish in a tie for sixth at the Catalunya Open in Spain on the DP World Tour.

Kobori finished a 12-under a staggering 16 shots behind runaway winner Yurov Premlall of South Africa who had a second consecutive round of 63.


Lydia Ko finished tied 18th after a final round 71 at the LPGA tournament in New Jersey hitting three birdies and two bogeys in her round.


She was two-under for the tournament 11 shots behind the winner Jeeno Titikul from Thailand.


At the PGA tournament in North Carolina Ryan Fox finished tied 67th after a one-over final round to be six-over for the tournament.


The evnetual winner was Kristoffer Reitan of Norway at 15-under two shots ahead of his nearest rivals.
