Ko top-20, Garvey top-25 Women's British Open

Dame Lydia Ko has held her top-20 position at the Women's British Open at Royal Lytham & St Annes.
The 2024 champion Ko, finished seven shots back from the winner in a tie for 20th after starting the final day in 12th.

However she carded a three over par 74 to finish two over for the tournament.
Her final round featured birdies on the second, 13th and 18th holes, but bogeys at the fourth, seventh, 12th and 17th holes plus a double bogey on the 15th.
Amelia Garvey finished the tournament at tied 23rd, up 26 places at three-over after a fourth round of three-under.
She double bogey the third hole and bogey the 11th, but otherwise she hit birdies on the first, then sixth, seventh, eighth holes plus at the 15th and 18th holes for a 68.
Japan's Shiho Kuwaki claimed her first major title by defeating Germany's Esther Henseleit in a playoff at the Women's Open.
Kuwaki and Henseleit finished regulation play tied at five under par after the German holed a lengthy birdie putt on the 18th to force extra holes.
