Win and loss for Kiwi tennis players in finals

Mixed fortunes for New Zealanders in WTA and ATP doubles finals in the United States and Mexico.
Erin Routliffe won the Mubadala DC Open Women's Doubles title! with Aldila Sutjiadi from Indonesia 6-4, 6-1 against Japand's Makoto Ninomiya and Andreja Klepač of Slovenia.
LATEST HEADLINES:
It's the 13th career title for Routliffe and second with Sutjiadi after Austin in 2023.
The DC Open is a WTA 500 event, which moves Routliffe n back into the WTA top 10.
Meanwhile at the ATP Los Cabos tournament in Mexico Finn Reynolds and James Watt came very close to their first title at 250 level.
They eventually lost 7-6(4), 6-7(5), 10-8 in one hour 49 minutes to American pair Ryann Seggerman and Patrick Trhac.
It is the best-career result for Reynolds from Hawke's Bay and Timaru's James Watt and has them sitting at 80 and 81 in the current ATP rankings.
Reynolds is playing doubles at the Lexington Challenger this week while another New Zealander Jack Loutit is in the doubles main draw with American Eli Stephenson.
