Reynolds, Watt reach first ATP doubles final

The New Zealand tennis pair of Finn Reynolds and James Watt are through to their career first ATP doubles final.

The Kiwi duo beat Gonzalo Escobar from Ecuador and India's Niki Kaliyanda Poonacha 6-3, -7-6(3). to reach the decider of the Los Cabos ATP 250 tournament in Mexico.

The match took one hour 23 minutes and is expected to take their current ATP doubles rankings up from 81 for Reynolds and 82 for Watt as well taking them closer to the US Open entry.

They'll play Americans Ryan Seggerman and Patrik Trhac for the title

Their recent form has seen them reach three Challenger title finals for two titles, but am ATP 250 tournament is a step up for both players.
