Ko poised at the British Open, Garvey makes cut

A move up the leaderboard at Women's British Golf Open at Royal Lytham & St Annes for Dame Lydia Ko.
She's tied 14th after two rounds at one-under par six shots behind the leader Haeran Kyu of Korea.
LATEST HEADLINES:
Ko bogeyed the second hole but had birdies on the seventh, eighth and 10th holes, however she went bogey, birdie, bogey on the 15th to 17th holes.
Ko won the tournament in 2024 and is keen to follow on from countryman Ryan Fox who claimed the men's British Open title a couple of weeks ago.
Fellow Kiwi Amelia Garvey will make the cut at four-over.
Garvey carded a one-under round 70 with four birdies and three bogeys.
