New Zealand team late medals at Glasgow 2026

New Zealand has beaten its target on the medal table at the end of the Glasgow Commonwealth Games.
The Kiwi team were sixth overall on the medal table with Australia and England predictably the top two followed by Canada.
India and then the hosts, Scotland both had 39 medals in total for fourth and fifth.

High Performance Sport NZ had predicted 35 medals. The team finished with 36 after a surge on the final day thanks to gold for the Silver Ferns and gold in Judo (+78kg - Women) for Sydnee Andrews.
Ellesse Andrews in the Keirin cycling took away a silver while there were two other silver medals for Lawn Bowls Para-Sport Teri Blackbourn & Julie O'Connell Pairs - Women and Lawn Bowls Para-Sport Mark Noble & Kurt Smit Pairs - Men
Bronze medals went to Devon Briggs to go with his gold earlier, this time in the para-cycling (Individual Pursuit Para-Sport C1-3 - Men), George Jackson in the cycling track points race, Kody Andrews in Judo (+100kg - Men)
