Cycling New Zealand has named 21 riders for two key upcoming global events for the UCI Para-cycling Track World Championships and the UCI Track World Championships.

New Zealand has beaten its target on the medal table at the end of the Glasgow Commonwealth Games.

Devon Briggs shone on a disappointing day for the New Zealand cyclists when he rode superbly to win the gold medal in the para C1-C3 1000m track time trial. Shortly after, Sami Donnelly won a silver medal in the women's 10km scratch race.
