Honours were shared in Super Smash cricket in Alexandra as Otago and Canturbury won a match each.
The Otago Sparks cruised to a six wicket win over the Canterbury Magicians and equalled a world record along the way.
LATEST HEADLINES:
Canterbury scored 146 for 6 in their innings thanks to Izzy Sharp's 65 not out, but Otago smashed their way to a win in 15 overs.
Australian Laura Harris scored a bit-hitting 52 - her half century in just 15 balls equalling a T20 domestic world record.
She hit six four and four sixes for Otago and helped take the innings away from the Cantabs.
In the men's game Canterbury led by Rod Latham making 79 from 48 balls scored 188-5.
The best of the Volts bowlers was Black Caps Glenn Phillips taking 2-29 from four overs.
In reply Otago managed 160 to lose by 28 runs in the 20th over.
Jamal Todd, Max Chu and Glenn Phillips all scored in the 30's but there was a lack of support throughout the rest of the batting lineup as Cam Paul snared 3-32, Cole McConchie 2-26 from three overs and Sean Davey 2-23 from two overs.
