Hillier leads in Qatar, Fox up and down in Phoenix

New Zealand golfer Daniel Hillier is joint leader of the Qatar Masters in Doha after the first round.
Hillier is seven-under alongside 2018 Masters winner, American Patrick Reed.
LATEST HEADLINES:
The Wellingtonian collected pars on the third, fourth and sixth holes in the front nine along with an eagle three on par five ninth hole.
In the back nine holes he had birdies at the 10th, 11th and 16th.
Hillier, 27 had just one bogey in the round at the eighth. Countryman Kazuma Kobori is tied eighth at five-under
Meanwhile Ryan Fox had an up and down first round at the PGA tournament in Phoenix.
Fox carded a 69 featuring bogeys on the third, 14th and 16th holes, but birdies on the fifth and sixth as well as 10th, 12th and 13th.
He's in a tie of 13th at two-under. American Chris Gotterup the initial leader on eight-under.
