The New Zealand A cricket side are in a solid position after two days of the second unofficial test against South Africa A in Benoni.


The New Zealand side scored 482 thanks to Curtis Heaphy from central Districts making 190 and Jayden Lennox 88 batting at No 10 in the order.


LATEST HEADLINES:


Mitch Hay made 56 with Muhammad Abbas 40 and Adithya Ashok 35. Rhys Mariu scored 30, Bevon Jacobs no runs, Josh Clarkson 16, Zak Foulkes 3, and Joe Carter one.


At bat the home side are 159-2 at the end of the second day.


Zak Foulkes has taken 1-26 from his 10 overs while Lennox has 1-35 from seven overs.


New Zealand easily won the first unofficial test of the three match test by 185 runs.
