A huge first innings of 607-7 declared for the New Zealand A cricket side against South Africa A in Potchefstroom
Canterbury's Rhys Mariu added 49 runs to eventually be out for 249. Captain Joe Carter added seven runs to be out for 57 before Curis Heaphy made 32, Mitch Hay 71 not out and Josh Clarkson 28.

Further down the order Zak Foulkes made four while Auckland's Simon Keene came out swinging hitting 44 from 24 balls which featured three sixes and three fours.
Hom team left-arm bowler Tsepo Ndwandwa took an impressive 7-206 from 44.5 overs.
