New Zealand golfer Dame Lydia Ko has slipped into a share of 36th at the LPGA's Tour Championship in Florida.


She carded a third round one-over 73 to be six under for the tournament - 16 shots off the pace.

Ko had moved up from her overnight score of seven-under after a birdie the first hole, but bogeyed the seventh and then turned it around with a birdie on the eighth.


The 27-year-old then went to nine-under with a birdie on the 15th, but bogeyed the 16th.


Worse was to come for the former two-time winner of the tournametn with a double bogey on the par four 18th and a third round 73


Defending champion Thailand's Jeeno Thitiul currently leads the field by five shots.on 22-under, six shots ahead of Nelly Korda.
