New Zealand 's Lydia Ko makes a much-anticipated return to the LPGA Tour this week when she tees it up at the CME Group Tour Championship.


The LPGA Tour’s season wraps up at the tournaments at the Tiburón Golf Club in Naples, Florida.

The limited field features the top 60 golfers all of whom earned a spot at the Tour Championship and a chance to compete for a $4 million winner’s check, the biggest in the women’s game.


In 2024, Jeeno Thitikul needed an eagle-birdie finish on the 71st and 72nd holes of the CME Group Tour Championship to eke out a one-stroke victory over Angel Yin


Ko last competed in the Maybank Championship and tied for ninth. Ko is a two-time winner at Tiburón Golf Club, picking up victories in 2022 and 2015, and came in third last season.


The 28-year-old has enjoyed a quietly consistent season with four top 10s this year on the LPGA Tour, in addition to her victory at the HSBC Women’s World Championship.


The top-60 finishers in the Race to the CME Globe will have a chance to compete for a piece of the $11 million purse, one of the biggest all season long on the LPGA Tour
