New Zealand driver Liam Lawson will start from 10th on the grid for Racing Bulls at Formula 1’s Monaco Grand Prix.
After finishing 19th and 16th in practice one and two and clipping walls he did what he needed to put himself in a position for points in the notoriously difficult to overtake course.

“I tried really hard today,” said Lawson after qualifying. “I hit the wall quite a few times, I tried to get everything out of it. But after yesterday, it’s a good result."
Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli, the 19-year-old Italian heads the grid just ahead of Max Verstappen of Red Bull by just 0.043 with Lewis Hamilton third.
