Hobbs trio of Kiwis in Diamond League Finals

New Zealand sprinter Zoe Hobbs has been granted entry into this week's prestigous Diamond League Finals in Zurich, Switzerland.
Hobbs was 10th in the qualifying for the finals after competing n three Diamond League 100m events this season. After a couple of withdrawals Habbs has made the entry list for the finals.
LATEST HEADLINES:
Hobbs is ranked 17th in the world and broke her own New Zealand and Oceania 100m record at a Diamond League meeting in the Czech Republic in June with a time of 10.94 seconds.
In her three Diamond League meetings this year, the 28-year-old had a best finish of third in Monaco in July.
The women's 100m field for Zurich is headed by Olympic champion Julien Alfred of St Lucia.
Two other New Zealanders in the finals meeting.with Olympic high jump champion and world No 1 Hamish Kerr is the top qualifier after winning two events.
Tom Walsh is seeded fourth and competes on Thursday morning (NZ time). Hobbs and Kerr on Friday morning.
