Six-time Grand Slam doubles winner Frenchwoman Kristina Mldanenovic has entered the ASB Classic PHOTO: US OPEN

Six-time Grand Slam winner and former number one Kristina Mladenovic has entered the doubles for next months ASB Classic in Auckland.


Mladenovic has 29 career doubles title to her credit and is set to partner Guo Hanyu from China.


LATEST HEADLINES:


The 32-year-old Frenchwoman who is coming back from injury reached a high on No 10 in singles in October 2017 but now keeps to doubles.


The tournament top seeds are likely to be New Zealand's Erin Routliffe and American Asia Muhammad.


Another pair of note who have entered the doubles are American Caty McNally - a two-time finalist at the US Open partnering with Indonesia's Janice Tjen who won two titles late in 2025.


The main darw of the women's ASB Classic starts Monday January 5.
