Fox redeems himself after tough start in Phoenix

New Zealand golfer Ryan Fox has opened his season with a tie for 24th at eight-under par in the PGA's Phoenix Open, thanks to a three-under 68 in the final round.
Fox bogeyed three of the first five holes but then birdied the sixth, eight, 10th, 11th, 12th and 17th holes to finish tied 24th at eight-under.
LATEST HEADLINES:
Earlier Fox had carded 69, 69 and 70 to help finish in the top 25 on the leaderboard.
The tournament was won by American Chris Gotterup on the first playoff hole over Japan's Hideki Matsuyama at 16-under..
Scottie Scheffler was tied for third, one shot back, despite carding seven birdies in a blemish-free final round 64.
