Ryan Fox has had a tough second round at the PGA Tour's BMW International at Maryland, but it's better news for Steven Alker


He carded at three over 73 to be seven over for the tournament, 21 shots behind the runaway leader Robert MacIntyre of Scotland.


LATEST HEADLINES:



Fox hit two double bogeys as well as well as bogeys on the third and sixth holes in his round of 73 which was one shot better than the previous day.


He did however manage birdies on the first, seventh and tenth holes.


Alker leads the PGA Champions Tour event in Alberta, Canada at seven-under alongside Spaniard Miguel Angel Jimenez after a first round 63.


The New Zealander hit eight birdies and just the one bogey to sit at seven-under a shot ahead of a couple of Americans.


Meanwhile at the European Tour event in Denmark, Kazuma Kobori has missed the cut at two-over by three strokes.
