Fox confirmed in Presidents Cup International team

New Zealand's Ryan Fox has officially claimed his place as one of the automatic spots in the top six players in the International Team for golf's Presidents Cup.
The tournament will be held at the Medinah Country Club in Chicago 22-27 September.

Fox, who has three PGA Tour wins is one of six player for the International team gaining automatic places.
Winning at Royal Birkdale moved him up 34 spots in the Official World Golf Ranking to No. 22 and propelled himself to No. 2 in the International Team standings at the time
Hideki Matsuyama from Japan, Min Woo Lee (Australia) Tom Kim (Korea) and Australia's Adam Scott are all returning while Korea's Si Woo Kim is the other new player
Fox earned his place in the team as one of the top six players in the rankings after this week’s PGA Tour Championship, which was won by American Scottie Scheffler.
International Team Captain Geoff Ogilvy and U.S. Team Captain Brandt Snedeker will make their six captain’s picks September 1 to round out their 12man teams that will compete at Medinah Country Club’s Course No. 3.
Fox is the first New Zealander in the Presidents Cup since Danny Lee in 2015 and fifth overall.
