Central, Canterbury share Super Smash results

As Super Smash cricket continued rain hampered play initially at Hagley Oval while some internationals stood up in the second contest.
In the reduced women's game the Central Hinds had a seven wicket victory by scoring 72-3 in a five over contest.
LATEST HEADLINES:
Canterbury had earlier scored 69-6 in their innings with Jodie Dean 20, Izzy Sharp 18 and Lea Tahuhu 15 not out.
CD had Bryony Smith smash 36 from 12 balls with five fours and two sixes while Flora Devonshire was 24 not out.
A star-studded Canterbury have beaten Central Districts in men's Super Smash by 36 runs.
The Kings made 194 for 7 thanks to big scoring from Chad Bowes( (62) Tom Latham (43) and Mitch Hay with 35.
In reply the Stags reached 158 for 8 with Dean Foxcroft making 57, Will Clark 42 and Will Young 37.
Cameron Paul and Ish Sodhi both took two wickets while Kyle Jamieson, Fraser Sheat, Michael Rae and Cole McConchie shared the rest.
