All Blacks look slick in big win over Fiji


The All Blacks have scored an impressive 47-5 victory over Fiji in a one-off test in San Diego with several new players making a positive impacts.


New Zealand ran in seven tries to one as Pasilio Tosi, Wallace Sititi, George Bell, Sam Darry, Noah Hotham and Billy Proctor earned their first test caps.

It took less than ten minutes before the All Blacks struck, McKenzie breaking the line and finding Barrett who shifted it smartly to the left for Caleb Clarke to cut back and score.


The second came soon after on the back of a strong carry from Anton Lienert-Brown, with Cortez Ratima then sneaking over from the base for his first test try.


The Fijians got themselves on the board courtesy of a cross kick from Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula which was taken by Semi Radradra who forced it inside to Vilimoni Botitu.


Billy Proctor crossed in just his first test after some sharp passing followed by Ardie Savea going over after taking a quick tap.

After a strong half hour in his first start at halfback, Ratima left the field and was replaced by debutant Hotham..


The score was 26-5 to the All Blacks at halftime and then after the restart Sevu Reece crashed over in the corner.


Coach Scott Robertson cleared his bench with Pasilio Tosi, Wallace Sititi, George Bell and Sam Darry became the latest All Blacks. They made an immediate impact, each having a hand in a sixth try for Ethan De Groot.


Bell then had the final say as he burrowed his way over the line finished the game and a dominant All Blacks performance.
