Aces, Hearts easy winners over Canterbury

The Auckland Aces have won the top-of-the-table T20 Super Smash clash over the Canterbury Kings by nine wickets.
The Kings struggled in the humid conditions with Leo Carter top-scoring on 39 as they set the hosts a total of 133 to chase for the win at Eden Park Outer Oval.

Auckland batter Bevon Jacobs was aiming for a record sixth consecutive half century but didn't get a chance to bat as the Aces opener Dale Phillips instad guided the team home with an unbeaten 55.
Sean Solia made 27 and former Black Cap Martin Guptill also was 39 nout out off 15 balls - two fours and four sixes as the Aces won with nearly half an innings to spare.
Earlier all five Aces bowlers used took at least one wicket each as they dismissed the Kings with the last ball of the innings.
The Aces are four points clear of the Kings and Northern Brave on the men's Super Smash table.
In a rain-reduced contest, the Hearts were in control from the outset, taking the win over the Magicians.
The Magicians made 93 with Maddy Green taking 3-16. The Hearts scored 94-3
