The Black Ferns Sevens and All Blacks Sevens have split their matches on the opening day of the World Sevens Series Grand Finals.
The Black Ferns Sevens stormed to a 49-14 victory over Great Britain, while the All Blacks Sevens fell 28-26 to Fiji at Civitas Metropolitano, the home of Atletico Madrid, in Spain on Friday (Saturday NZ Time).

Portia Woodman-Wickliffe scored a hat-trick of tries, while Michaela Blyde, Jazmin Felix-Hotham, Theresa Setefano and Alena Saili also scored tries for the Black Ferns, who led 21-0 at halftime.
Woodman-Wickliffe, who has scored more than 250 tries in the Women's World Sevens Series, scored goals in the second, fourth and seventh minutes.
New Zealand ran in four second-half tries to lead 49-0 before Jasmine Joyce scored two tries for Great Britain in the final minutes.
The Black Ferns, who have won the last four tournaments on the sevens circuit and lead Australia by two points in the standings, face Canada (kick-off 3.30am Sunday NZT) and the USA (kick-off 6.33am Sunday NZT) to complete Pool A on Saturday.
The All Blacks Sevens started strong against Fiji, with Moses Leo and Tepaea Cook Savage scoring in the first three minutes for a 12-0. Fiji answered with a try but Sam Dickson scored before halftime to give New Zealand a 19-7 lead.
Fiji scored two converted tries in two minutes to take a 21-19 lead after 11 minutes but Joe Webber looked to have given the All Blacks the victory when he scored in the 12th minute.
However, Ponepati Loganimasi's try in the final seconds and Iowane Teba's conversion after the final siren lifted the Fijians to victory, putting Tomasi Cama's squad in a tough spot qualify for the semifinals.
The All Blacks Sevens, who sit third in the series standings behind Argentina and Ireland, face South Africa (kick-off 10.44pm NZT) and Ireland (kick-off 2.11am Sunday NZT) in Pool B on Saturday.
