Warriors score quick but drop game to Manly

The Warriors will finish sixth on the NRL ladder after a 27-26 loss away at Manly and will host an elimination final against either the Roosters or Panthers next weekend.
There was a stunning start to a game as Daly Cherry-Evans allowed the kick-off to bounce and roll back to Jason Saab who fumbled for James Fisher-Harris to pick up and score after just 10 seconds. Tanah Boyd converted.

The remaidner of the match was error-ridden as the Sea Eagles completed at 70 per cent and came up with 16 errors while the Warriors made 14 errors and completed at 75 per cent.

The Warriors scored a consolation try as Boyd put a long ball to Dalin Watene-Zelezniak who who threw himself at the corner to score but the game was effectively gone by then.
Earlier Watene-Zelezniak had scored near the end of the first half while Charnze Nicoll-Klokstand cross in the second spell and Sam Healey dotted down in the 74th minute.

On a good note Erin Clark continued his superb season with a wholehearted 80-minute performance that reaped 194 metres from 23 runs, nine tackle breaks and 41 tackles.
Roger Tuivasa-Sheck had 20 runs for 234 metres and probed all night for holes in the Manly defence.
