Warriors hold off 12-man Knights to go top

The Warriors have retaken top spot on the NRL ladder after a 46-32 win over the Newcastle Knights at Mt Smart.

the Warriors were actually down 0-16 after the Knights touched down for tries to Fletcher Hunt after four minutes then Frances Manuleleua five minutes later and Jermaine McEwen after 14 minutes. The third try was just after Jacob Saifiti had been sent off for a high tackle on Luke Lualilii.

Jacob Laban eventually got the Warriors on the with the home sides first try midway through the first half.

Erin Clark crossed next with Demitric Vaimauga also dotting down as the score stood at 22-20 at halftime.
