Top-10 finish for Steven Alker at Senior Open

A final round two-under 68 wasn't quite enough for Steven Alker to challenge for the Senior Open title at Sunnydale Golf Club in Berkshire, England.
The 53-year-old Kiwi completed the tournament at 10-under alone in seventh, six shots behind the winner, Irishman Padraig Harrington.
LATEST HEADLINES:
Alker carded birdies at the first, third and seventh holes as well as in the back nine at the 11th.
However bogeys at the bogeys at the 12th and 16th holes pulled back from a higher placing.
Earlier in the tournament Alker carded a 63 to lead after the first round, but then a 73 followed by a 66 and then the 68.
