New Zealand Formula 1 driver Liam Lawson has earned points for the third time in the last six grands prix.
Lawson started and finished eighth at the Belgian Grand Prix at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps on Sunday (Monday NZ Time), collecting four points to move ahead of Fernando Alonso and Carlos Sainz Jr.

Heavy rain ahead of the 44-lap race delayed proceedings by almost 80 minutes but once racing got underway on Lap 5, the crucial moment came immediately as Oscar Piastri got a better run on his McLaren teammate and polesitter Lando Norris.
Australian Piastri ran away with the race, while Lawson maintained eighth throughout in a stretched-out field.
"Feeling very happy," Lawson said. "Happy for the team. They've done a very good job all weekend, the car's been very strong and in both conditions today, the car was very good as well.
"Good call on the box to come out on slicks and then from there, it was strong all the way til the end. We've got one more (grand prix) before the break, so let's try to finish this part of the season with a good one."
Lawson's other results in the last six F1 grands prix have been 11th at the Spanish Grand Prix and retirements at the Canadian and British Grands Prix.
The 23-year-old now sits 14th with 16 points, six fewer than Racing Bulls teammate Isack Hadjar, who finished 20th at Spa, but six more than Yuki Tsunoda, who controversially replaced Lawson at Red Bull after just two races.
Formula 1 now heads to Budapest for the Hungarian Grand Prix at the Hungaroring circuit next weekend, where Lawson has never competed.
