The Super Rugby Pacific playoffs are set and a raft of stars are back for all sides as top side the Hurricanes kick things off in Wellington against the ACT Brumbies..
Jordie Barrett returns in the backline along with Billy Proctor while Warner Dearns is back to start in the forwards with Asafo Aumua in the front row alongside Paillio Tosi in the front row.
'LATEST HEADLINES:
The depth across the field for the Hurricanes looks difficult for any side letalone the Brumbies who struggled with consistency during the season. They have good individuals but at times were lacklustre.
On Saturdya after the Blues will try to be the first team to defeat the Crusaders in their new stadium, however on last weekend's form their chances don't look great.
The home side have Leicester Fainga'anuku back at openside and a settled team to see if they can go back-to-back, away (round 14) and home against the Blues.
The Auckland-based franchise have Ofa Tu'ungafasi, returning at prop and Patrick Tuipulotu partnering Sam Darry at lock, but what are the chances of an upset.
The first round of finals ends in Hamilton with the Chiefs hosting the inconsisten Queensland Reds in a rematch of the 2024 qualifying finals.
The Chiefs have a number of players back such as Samisoni Taukei'aho, Tupou Vaa'i, Luke Jacobson. Damian McKenzie and Quinn Tupaea.
