There are just two All Blacks in World Rugby's men's 15s Dream Team of the Year which is dominated by the Sprinboks including Player of the Year Malcolm Marx


The two All Blacks are halfback Cam Roigard and fullback Will Jordan, with no New Zealand forwards selected.

Loose forward Ardie Savea is possibly the only All Blacks forward who might have been in contention.


Joining hooker Marx were props Ox Nche and Thomas du Toit, twice Player of the Year Pieter-Steph du Toit, first-five Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu and wing Cheslin Kolbe, a year after seven Springboks were named in the 2024 list.


South Africa capped off a highly successful year by securing back-to-back Rugby Championship titles for the first time.


The Wallabies and England also contributed two players to the Dream Team, with Australia No.8 and captain Harry Wilson and centre Len Ikitau named.
