Head coach Nat Hurst has named an inexperienced Tall Ferns squad with three uncapped players for their FIBA Basketball World Cup qualifiers in Puerto Rico next month


Jade Kirisome has been included for the first time after impressing for the Tauranga Whai in the national league.

Cousins Emma and Briarley Rogers have also been named for the first time.


Tayla Dalton is the most experienced in the squad with just18 games, however the 24-year-old played at college in California and Washington state.


There are four players from the Adelaide Lightning team in the WNBL in Australia.


The Tall Ferns will play Spain, Italy, Senegal, the USA and Puerto Rico
