Wet weather dampens OFC Pro League football

The OFC Pro League clash between South Island United and Auckland FC match WAS postponed due to inclement weather in Melbourne on Tuesday afternoon.
Severe thunderstorms in the area around the Home of the Matildas stadium meant the match had to be called off.
LATEST HEADLINES:
The original kickoff of 3pm (local time) was pushed out to 3:45pm and then 4:15pm as the poor weather continued.
While the weather cleared around the second kick off time water had pooled on the pitch making it unplayable.
Details on the rescheduling of the match will be announced in due course.
The second match between South Melbourne FC and Tahiti United was also postponed.
Auckland currently head the Pro League table with 16 points after five wins, one draw and one loss.
South Melbourne are next on 12 points but with a game in hand. Solomon Kings FC are third and South Island United fourth on the table.
