Lawson to beat power issues in Shanghai sprint

New Zealand driver Liam Lawson will start Formula One’s China Grand Prix sprint race in 13th, after being eliminated in the second stage of qualifying in Shanghai.
The 24-year-old missed out on a top 10 start for the 19 lap race by 0.094s, but finished in front of rookie teammate Arvid Lindblad who was 15th.

“Good step from practice to qualifies. In terms of set-up, I actually felt quite happy," said Lawson. "It's not as good for us here, so we've got some work to do. It's very cold, so I'm sure it's going to be a challenge tomorrow."
Earlier Lawson was 11th in the first practice..
After winning in Melbourne a week ago, George Russell was the best in practice and in sprint qualfiying with fellow Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli also in the front row.
Lando Norris will start third and Lewis Hamilton fourth.
