Football Ferns playmaker Macey Fraser is in line to make her first appearance for the Wellington Phoenix this season after her inclusion in the provisional squad to face Brisbane Roar on Saturday.


Fraser (23) re-joined the Phoenix on a three-year contract in September, but has yet to play for the club since returning from Utah Royals and then on a break.


LATEST HEADLINES:


The eight-cap Fern was given leave of absence by the club last November to address her mental health.


She and age-group international Ella McMillan have been included in coach Bev Priestman’s provisional squad for Saturday’s match against Brisbane.


The Wellington Phoenix women are fourth on the A-League ladder, Brisbane are eighth.


The game is at 6pm at the Wellington Stadium after the men's clash between the Nix and Perht Glory,
