New Zealand golfer Kazuma Kobori's carded an opening round four-under par 68 at St Andrews to sit in a tie for 59th at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship


Kobori, 25 hit birdies on the fith, seventh, ninth and 12th holes with no blemishes in the round.

Also at four-under is Kerry Mountcastle who had five birdies and one bogey in his round.


Tyler Hodge is at two-over after a mixed round while Daniel Hillier's near the bottom of the leaderboard after a four-over par round of 76.


HIllier hit three double-bogeys in his first round on the Carnoustie course.


There's a three-way tie at the top of the Leaderboard with American Ryan Brehm, Dutchman, Darius Van Driel and Englishman Matthew Jordan all at nine-under.
