Football Ferns up in FIFA Women's world rankings

The Football Ferns have moved up two places to 33rd in the latest FIFA women's world football rankings.
Last week the Ferns qualified for the 2027 FIFA World Cup by winning the Oceania qualifying 1-0 over Papua New Guinea.
LATEST HEADLINES:
New Zealand's highest ranking is 16 which was initially achieved in 2013.
PNG are the are the next best ranked team in Oceania at number 57.
There is no change at the top of the rankings with Spain No 1 ahead of the United States and England, who move up one from fourth in front of Germany.
The remainder of the top 10 is Japan, Brazil, France, Sweden, Canada and the Netherlands.
The FIFA Women's World Cup is next year in Brazil.
