New Zeaand have set England a big challenge for the fifth day of the third test at Trent Bridge as Ben Stokes went into retirement
The home side had slogged their way to 103-4 in a chase of 373 with 270 runs to win.

Earlier the Black Caps had declared their isecond nnings at 288-9 with Dary Mitchell 100 not out.from 241 balls featuring 10 fours and an six with Ben Sears also at the crease on 19.
Rachin Ravindra had been dismissed just short of a century. Tom Blundell was out for 18, Mitchell Santner a duck, Nathan Smith for one, Zak Foulkes six and Will O'Rourke no score.
Jofra Archer took 4-54 from his 20 overs as he took aim at the body of kiwi batters - Mitchell getting hit on the helmet, body and hand.
England are 103-4 with Ben Duckett out for 36 and Stokes hitting two fours and two sixes for 30 and shock retirement.
Jacob Bethell who is usually a thorn in the side of New Zealand was out for a duck and Harry Brook out for 21 as Foulkes has been expensive but took the wickets at 3-42 from 5.5 overs including Stokes in his final innings.
joe Root is not out nine and Emilio Gay not out six.
The pitch appears to be deterdeteriorating and puts New Zealand on course for the first win in a series of three Tests or more by a visiting team in England since 2012
