The Black Caps have started the third test at Trent Bridge against England with centturies for openers Tom Latham and Devon Conway.
New Zealand ended day one at 361-4 after the late wickets of Henry Nicholls for 36 and Rachin Ravindraw seven.
LATEST HEADLINES:
The first wicket fell at 317 in what was the record opening partnership against England as Latham went for 151. from 214 balls - his 17th test century
The second wicket was just a runl later with Conway gone, his score at 157 from 224 balls featuring 22 fours and three sixes.
Earlier Latham won the toss and sent England into the field on a hot day.
The Black Caps were missing two of the heroes from the victory at he Oval, Matt Henry and Glenn Phillips with minor injuries, replaced by Ben Sears and Mitchell Santner.
