New Zealand tennis player Anton Shepp has won his third professional singles title after success at the M15 Monastir event in Tunisia.


Shepp, 23 won through qualifying round and then didn't drop a set in teh main draw beatin the top seed in the quaters, third seed in the semis and then fourth seed Aziz Ouakaa of Tunisia 6-2 7-5 in the final.

It's his second singles title in Monastir in less than a month. He also won the doubles title the previous week with fellow Kiwi Isaac Becroft.


Shepp from the Waikato has now seen his ATP singles ranking improve to 722 and doubles up to 461.


He will now travel to Singapore for two ITF $15k tournaments followed by a number of $25k events in Thailand.
