White Ferns stay alive at T20 World Cup

New Zealand have beaten Scotland by six wickets in their penultimate Women's T20 World Cup group game to keep their semifinal hopes alive.
The White Ferns won the toss and elected to field first in Bristol as Scotland scored 131-7 with opener Darcey Carter carrying her bat to make 72.
LATEST HEADLINES:
The Scots compiled 51 from the first seven overs, but were then pegged back but some tight bowling by the New Zealand spinners and Sophie Devine.
Aside from Carter only Sarah Bryce -25 and Priyanaz Chatterji with 12 made double figures. .
White Ferns captain Amelia Kerr took 3-17 from her four overs and veteran Devine 2-19
However in reply Kerr lasted just six balls opening the innings as her side fell to 26-three,
Izzy Sharp recorded her highest T20 international score of 62 from 43 balls and featuring eight fours and a six.
Brooke Halliday scored an unbeaten 41 from Brooke Halliday to get New Zealand home with 10 balls to spare and a total of 132-4.
Isabella Gaze was the only other New Zealand player to trouble the scoredboard with 18 runs.
Once again there were a number of fielding errors and dropped catches
New Zealand are third in Group B at the World Cup on four points, two behind England and the West Indies.
They play England on Sunday.
