Voke, 30 who hails from Auckland but is based in the United States finished tied eighth after a final round 65 shot him up the leaderboard to finish at eight-under, six shots behind the winner Elvis Smylie.


LATEST HEADLINES:


Voke takes home NZ$42,500 in prize money for his effort.


Kazuma kobori was one shot further back in a tie for 15th after a final round 69. Kerry Mountcastle was next of the New Zealanders at tied 24th, also after a final round 69.


Tied 34th was Daniel Iremia at four-under who went 69, 68 and 72 over his three rounds.


Daniel Hillier was next at three under and tied 43rd after he faltered with a final round 73.


The next tournament on the DP World Tour is the Australian Open at Kingston Heath in Melbourne starting later this week.


Once again close to 10 New Zealand players will be competing
