Super Rugby hits Christchurch and new stadium

Super Round Pacific Round 11 descends on Christchurch as the ten teams in action prepare to officially open the new One NZ Stadium.


It begins on Friday with the hosts Crusaders taking on the NSW Waratahs, with the defending champions making the bold call to start Leciester Fainga'anuku at flanker.


LATEST HEADLINES:


It's not an unfamiliar postion for Fainga'anuku, however it's still a risk for the home side who are sixth on the points table and lost to the Force last week


ANZAC Day begins with the Hurricanes and ACT Brumbies facing off, both teams eager to rebound.


The Reds have been inconsistent this season and face the Blues who are hot when they're on, especially last week in the second half against the Highlanders.


The weekend concludes with the Highlanders hosting Moana Pasifika, followed by the Chiefs taking on the Fijian Drua after both scored wins last weekend/. .


The Western Force remain in Perth, enjoying the bye for the week.
