Scott Barrett back for Bulls clash with Magpies

Former All Blacks captain Scott Barrett has been named at lock for the Taranki Buls in their clash with the Hawke's Bay Magpies in round nine of the NPC.

Barrett hasn't played for his province for five years but will form part of a strong forward pack to face previous leaders Hawke's Bay in Napier on Sunday.

The 32-year-old hasn't played for 10 months, but will be alongside current All Blacks lock Josh Lord.

Also in the Bulls team is hooker Gordon Slater and Josh Jacomb at first five who returned to the province last week after the All Blacks tour to South Africa.

The Magipies have been consistent all season, however a third loss could in teory see them drop out of the top five at the completion of the round.
